My Approach and Philosophy

I strive to treat all people with the respect and kindness they inherently deserve.

I believe that each of us is on our own individual journey and I recognize that changes occur only when we are ready for them. There are many aspects to a person’s life, and I will do my best to understand and work within the constraints that any individual is facing.

I consider myself a partner, a guide, and an advocate on your path to better health – not a paternalistic and stoic presence who simply tells you what to do. After all, you know your body better than anyone, and I trust you.

I invite your participation and I encourage your questions. I do not have all the answers and I am not afraid to say “I don’t know.” But I will absolutely do my best to find answers to any questions or concerns that you raise.

In return, I expect you to be accountable for your own health. I can provide information, recommendations, and tools for you to be a healthier version of yourself, but you have to be invested in yourself and engaged in the process. It may be challenging – and some moments will be less fun than others – but you’re totally worth it!
